MAIL.BOX.ART No.12
BOX.ART No.12 – AMY MACHALE
I met Amy MacHale a few months back and her energy captivated me. She has a great eye for color and is passionate about sharing her process, so needless to say, I was beyond excited when she agreed to collaborate on this special piece with her.
ARTIST BIO: Amy uses alcohol inks activated by moonshine, which create an expressionistic style of work. This approach evokes a feeling of movement via the colors in the inks using various tools to manipulate the medium. The essence of her work is largely inspired by her life and her love of traveling. She is an artist for the Hidden Truths Project and is represented in two galleries, in North Carolina at Studio 276 and in California at Troy Wirth Gallery.
Amy's work can be found online amymachale.com and IG @amymachale
I started the MAIL.BOX.ART PROJECT as a way to share my passion for art and support independent artists. From time to time, I feature work by an artist that I love. Each piece is meant to be enjoyed, savored, and saved. I hope this inspires you to start or grow your art collection.
