Introducing Carlise Burch – the artist behind the “View Of Camelback” collaboration launching on December 7th. "Carlisle Burch’s approach to illustrating intentionally explores the dichotomy that defined much of her childhood. Characters and scenes evolve from the juxtaposition of her Mojave Desert home and a fascination with French post-impressionism as well as fashion illustration of the early 1900’s. Her use of color and line creates a world where leathered cowboys, rattlesnakes, and sandstorms merge with the idealistic and refined. Carlisle’s illustrations are equally light-hearted while transporting us into her world of weathered nostalgia."
